The Meadows Montessori School is a friendly and welcoming nursery school for two-and-a-half to five-year-old children. We embrace the Montessori approach and provide a broad range of activities which encourage independence, foster self-confidence and extend knowledge in a supportive environment.

Housed in a community centre near Dukes Meadows in Chiswick, the school is light and bright and well resourced, with a secure area for outside play. Children attend three-hour sessions in the mornings during term-times, with the opportunity for extended days. Meadows’ teachers guide the children through all areas of the early years curriculum with sensitivity, care and a shared sense of excitement, and sessions include music, drama, PE and cooking each week.

Established in 1993, and sister school to the Elmwood Montessori School (established 1980), Meadows is committed to the development of the whole child, and to offering each child the “education for life” which was Maria Montessori’s aim.
